I’d love to learn to free dive someday. After having smoked for 25 years, not sure it’s even wise. Maybe after a year or two more of healing and conditioning my respiratory system I can give it a go. Oh, and I’ve moved back to the coast. Last thing I need is another ocean dependent hobby while I’m still land-locked.
I love solo (scuba) diving, even though it’s widely considered taboo. The feelings of freedom, inner peace, hyper awareness and self preservation I get from doing it is amazing. Not to mention, I always seem to see the coolest things, and connect with them, when I’m by myself. Free diving feels like the next logical step. It seems very peaceful and relaxing. That’s what I’m looking for while connecting with Mother Ocean.
